Birdfreak.com is run by three siblings from Rockford, Illinois. Each of us write for the blog and the pictures you see on Flickr are taken by myself (Birdfreak) and one of my sisters, Jennie (Veery). My nephew has even started taking some photos!
It is our goal to use our site as a portal to network with other birders and conservationists to help improve the habitats of the birds we love.

"Eddie is one of the smartest people about birds that I have ever met. He has recorded over 200 defferant types of birds on camera! And how many birds has he seen by the naked eye? I dont know because he is so modest and humble he does not brag! He also leads birding tours!
His photography on how he catches the birds is so incredible! He has some of the most colorful birds that I have ever seen on camera! I have had some awesome moments with him like the time he bought me a pro account! Now people think of it for a second now would you buy a complete stranger that you have never even seen before a pro account? I think not.
