I believe:
-that flowers and clouds at sunset are the most beautiful things in the universe
-that free will is unconscious
-that every life is equally meaningless but also equally more rare and precious than anything in the universe
-that we are more a byproduct of our environment that we can ever be aware of
-that our shared reality is constructed out of words
-that philosophy has ultimately failed me

flickr is a wonderful way to share myself and make friends; however, I don't take it more seriously than it needs to be. I don't have a great camera and don't take great pictures. I think I'm almost too open minded about some things and have learned to restrict my information input so as not to have to reconstruct my view of the world every time I open a book on a subject I've never read before. I lived and worked on nuclear powered submarines for 8 years. I grew up in a religiously hypocritical, dysfunctional, and abusively violent family (thanks dad). I've yet to finish my college degree. I've had auditory + visual synesthesia my entire life and have learned how to channel touch into internal cross sensory representation the past couple of years. I sometimes worry that I'm too self-revealing for my own good. I am increasingly becoming a gardening nerd.
