Our 15th Congressional District is about to make a big choice: a new individual will represent us for the first time since 1994. It will be one of the most important elections in Florida.

I decided to run for this open seat in Congress so that we can continue to have common sense values from our community represented in Washington D.C. Those values include faith, duty, responsibility, and charity; values that my parents and yours imparted to us.

These are the same values I carried with me to our local and state governments nearly 33 years ago, first to the Rockledge City Council in 1976, then to the Florida House in 1992, and now in the Florida State Senate since 2000.

Our nation faces many challenges today in Washington, DC and around the globe. Only with your help will I be able to carry the values we share to Washington and work to build a safer and more prosperous future for ourselves, our children, and our grandchildren.
