.My eyesight is far from 20/20. Actually - I may be the only legally blind person to take up photography at age 70. Fortunately I can see well enough to play on my computer.

Life is like an expresionist painting. Not all bad.

Thanks for stopping by and a special thanks to those who have taken the time to commet. I'm in the early learning stages and need all the suggestions I can get. The encouragement is also nice.

Take a look at some of my early photos. See if I'm getting any better.

"I think it's time I wrote a testimonial for my dear friend Bill. I believe I met him through another Flickr friend (Nicki) and am so glad I checked out his photos back them. Bill lives in an amazing part of the country--a spot most of us only dream of. I love to see his wonderful view, the houses in the neighborhood, his amazing flower shots--most of all, I love his sense of humor. He does such good natured teasing (usually about our hot weather, LOL) and is always good for a lift with his great comments. Take a minute to check out Bill's stream, his lake scenes with the incredible sunrises/sunsets will knock your socks off! Hugs to you, sweet friend!"

"Bill, aside from being a great guy, has taken some breathtaking photos. Check out Stile and his wonderful sunset/sunrise series on the lake. For a blind photographer, he has a wonderful eye. Bill also is an integral part of our community at Blind Photographers. He has been with us from the start and has shared and participated all the way. Take some time and wander through Bill's photostream. It's worth a look!"

"Bill is definitely one of a kind. He states he is legally blind but you would never think so in the ways he "sees" everything through his camera. Very nice guy to correspond with. Super guy to have on flickr. Good luck Bill & God Bless."

"Mr. Bill.Fu is a fine gentleman, contrary to what he says about his aging eyesight, all i can say is, all his fotos as i can see, are all looking wonderful.

Most of all i do cherish his comments and proactive participtions on my postings. and i treasure his invites for me to join his many fine groups that he belongs to.

I like his foto styles, it is americana at its best. it tells and shares his passion for the places, events and personal experiences he had. Thanks Bud for sharing."

"Bill, I look at your photos and I notice that you don't do extravagant photos, but those of daily, simple life...the kind of things we miss in our aim to better our photography. Thanks for bringing us your photos."

    AraiGodai says:

"Bill's shot is, sincere, as in, he shoot what he sees. Often when many photographer takes a shot, they try to look for angles and add a few techniques that they think will make the photo look more appealing. Sort of to give other people a sense of their aesthetical appreciation. basically, a modified reality. Most of bill shot is none pretentious.. straight and honest. a window into his world. He's a wonderful flickr friend to have."
