I'm a long time amateur photographer. I've shot everything from 110 to 8x10 on film and moved to digital in 2002 when I was forced to pack up my darkroom. Although I still have film cameras (35mm, 645, 120, 4x5), I like the creative post production freedom available with today's software options. It's not film, but it is what it is.

I have a second flickr site here for street photograhy.

And sometimes I also blog about bicycles and other things over at Views from the Saddle

    JuliaR says:

"BikeRider has a naturally gifted eye for composition which is one of his great strengths in photography. He has also taught himself volumes about photography and everything I know about the subject, I have learned from him. In fact, he took half the photos on my Flickr site. I did all the sewing shots but a lot of the others are his. Heck, even the camera I use is his."
