I need to start this out with some thanks & gratitude to some very special people:

- To my husband, Mike, my son, Jason, and to my parents - thank you for always being supportive of my photography habit. You were the fuel for the fire & passion, and I am most grateful.

- To Jennifer for her help coding photoblogs and photography sites for me over the years - I have been honored to call you my friend, and it has always been a pleasure to work with you. Thank you for your patience with me.

- To Heather Champ for pointing me to Flickr, and to many others who encouraged me to sign up back in 2004. (Old Skool rocks!) It has changed my life in many ways.

- To Elaine, for the kick in the butt to force me to make my professional photography dreams a reality. Thanks, I needed that.

- To all of you, who over the years have viewed, favorited, commented on, passed along, or anything else my photographs, both here and on my other sites. Your support has made me even more passionate about my photography.

(answers to some of the questions I get asked a lot)

*Are your images available as prints?
Yes. Please contact me directly via my website, Fresh Photography (or email through Flickr).

I'd like to hire you to photograph my wedding. What's next?
Thank you, I'm truly honored to be considered to be a part of your wedding team. I photograph both local and destination weddings. Please send me your contact information so we can discuss the next steps.

I'd like to license an image.
Thank you -- I have licensed some of my images, so if you're interested in a particular shot or series, please send me an email with your requirements and I'm sure we can work something out, I look forward to hearing from you.

What equipment do you use?
Digital: I'm currently shooting with the Canon EOS 30D and an assortment of lenses, including the 24-70 f/2.8L (which I now love on the 30D, it was fussy on my old 20D), the Canon 10-20mm (love it!), the 50mm f/1.8 (another favorite of mine), and, very rarely, the 18-55mm kit lens. I also use a Speedlite 580EX (which I generally only use for weddings, portraits and engagement shoots).

Film: Some of my photograhs here were taken with the Minolta X-370 SLR that I got for my high school photography class in 1986. I love that camera, and it is a solid workhorse. Others were taken with a Lomo, that is now dead. Beaten up too much in my backpack, carried around all the time. I have several other film cameras, but lately I haven't been shooting with them.

    Sarah Alston says:

"Christine is one of my most favoritist people on Flickr. Yes, favoritist is a word. Look it up.

I had the chance to hang with her when she visited Seattle...we instantly hit it off. She makes me laugh. A lot.

I love Christine's work, as well as her personality. You are lucky if you get to get to know either one.

    Plus, her family is adorable."
