  "o0o Mike is special. He has a rare quality about him that if you are lucky enough to have him as a friend and a contact then you have found a star. He is both a talented photographer, just take a look at his photostream but also the very best flickr friend you could wish to have. Always generous with his comments and although Italian, he speaks excepionally good English. Humour, oh Mike has plenty of humour which is gentle and kind and is guaranteed to make you smile. Sundials has to be a favourite for Mike as he takes you around the places he visits pointing out the interesting doors etc, architecture and of course ... the sundials. I joke of course, but always safe in the knowledge that Mike will smile and interact. As an Admin I have to say he has earned my respect and that of the groups members. He has always been so very helpful be it translating for other Italians the rules, supporting and guiding them, for which I cannot thank him enough.   "Ho conosciuto bigmike.it quando ha partecipato al suo primo concorso in un mio gruppo.Da subito ho notato la sua generosità nel mettersi a disposizione di altri fotografi.Le sue competenze nel campo dei pc le ha messo subito a disposizione del gruppo.Una persona molto riservata ma bravissimo nell'utilizzo delle tecniche fotografiche.Le sue immagini non nascono dal caso ma da una attenta scelta del soggetto e della migliore luce.Ha mostrato molte immagini della sua regione ma anche di fenomeni naturali,in cui eccelle.Ama fotografare castelli,portali,chiese.La sua terra è ricca di bellezze e lui con garbo e professionalità ce le mostra in tutta la loro bellezza.Ho scoperto in lui un amico sempre pronto a spendersi per gli altri e per i gruppi in cui lavora.Non si sente su di un piedistallo,ma ce lo metto io perché è giusto dargli i dovuti riconoscimenti alla sua bravura e alla sua immensa umanità."
