I live in Northeast Alabama.I have always had an interest in photography but the hassle and expense were more than I could handle until digital cameras changed photography forever.Almost all of my photo's live in an external hard drive seldom do I actually print anything.I bought a EOS 350D Rebel XT in June of 2006 and I've only been serious about this hobby since that time.I love taking photos of just about anything but my favorite things to shoot are my precious little Grand daughter Anna and almost anything to do with nature.

It seems that birds have become my most photographed subjects.I really enjoy sitting outside and listening to all the different birds sing while I wait for one to come in range of my lens.

I have found flickr to be an excellent place to learn and share there are a lot of really great people here with mad photography skills and many of them are more than willing to share that knowledge.I have several contacts that have helped me many many times.While I am just a good ole Southern boy and by no stretch of the imagination do I claim to know it all I do know a little bit about photography and I'm more than willing to help if I can.
Before you add me as a contact please make sure that we have the same interest in the kind of things we photograph.So if your interest is scantily clad women or men I am not a good candidate for your contact list.

I value and appreciate each and every Fave,View,comment and invite or award that I might receive but please please don't invite me to post in groups that require me to comment on a ton of other photo's in that group or fave one comment or invite two that is just more trouble than I care to deal with.A requirement to comment on two or on occasion even three might be okay but more than that just requires way too much time.Without fail I always comment on at least two photo's in any group that I post in even if there is no requirement to do so,I just feel that it's the right thing to do.

Update I will no longer be adding to or inviting people to post to groups.It just takes too much time to fool with the groups and their requirements.

I am about to be single yet again but my heart still belongs to Rose and always will
