The Bigal River Conservation Project (BRCP) main objective consists in protecting the Biodiversity of a 2471 acres area of lowland primary rainforest (Bigal River Biological Reserve), located on the lower eastern slopes of the Ecuadorian Andes. The Reserve’ s altitude ranges between 1 640 and 3250 feet above sea level, located right in front Sumaco National Park.

All photos presented here were taken by the Sumac Muyu Foundation members in the Bigal River Biological Reserve and surrounding areas.
