I have always loved taking photographs, sports and landscapes in particular. Many years ago did a lot of freelance sports photography, track and field and rugby in particular. Had my own darkroom and all - I can still remember the smell of the fixer!! Purchased a Canon PowerShot A710is compact in 2007 and really started to rekindle my passion for the search for the perfect shot - this will of course take more than a lifetime to find. This camera goes everywhere with me. Now have a Canon EOS 400D digital SLR to replace my 'old' Canon EOS 100 film camera. I replaced the original kit lens for a Canon EFS 17-85 USM IS zoom lens and I already have a Canon EF 100 F2 USM and Canon 35 F2 lenses. I also purchased a superb Manfrotto tripod so now I have no excuses - do I?!
