14 April 2011 - Great news today...I just received my itinerary for a return trip to East Africa in August. This time I'll see Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. a lot less places than last time, but I'll be able to spend much more time at each one. I can't wait to see the Grevys' Zebra too.

Thanks for visiting my photostream. I appreciate your visits and comments. While I’m just an amateur photographer, I get a lot of satisfaction taking photos. I also love looking at everyone’s photo’s to see how they were taken and sometimes, why they were taken.

As you can probably tell, I love animals and I often visit my local zoos.

Finally got over to East Africa in Aug 09 for a fantastic holiday. Visited Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Amboseli, Tsavo West, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara. While some of the weather wasn't condusive for photography this was an amazing trip. The 'Mara' turned on some great weather and lighting for our last few days in Africa.

Nikon D7000.
