  "I don't know how I came across your photostream. I was just cruising around, really, taking a Sunday drive on Flickr, when I came across one of your pictures. It's that one of the young woman, standing in an open field, wearing a floral sundress and holding a gun with a straight arm. Pointing at something or someone in the distance, she looks as though, any second, she's going to pull the trigger, but the crazy thing is, her eyes are closed. And in spite of the weapon in her hand, her face looks almost serene. I keep returning to look at her face, as if she'll open her eyes and tell me what she's thinking, but she hasn't yet.
  
  Immediately, I wanted to see more, so I clicked to the next image, and the next. And then, when I got to the end of your photostream, I got up, poured a glass of wine and returned, starting over, at the beginning. A good two glasses and two hours later, I looked up again.
  
  Honestly, I have no idea how to describe your work. But I will say that it's a most satisfying frustration. I mean, isn't that what we all look for? Isn't that why we spend countless hours here, hunting around? In search of the image that stops us in our tracks, and then, one after another, a photostream that leads to that inexplicable moment of realizing we haven't discovered a new artist so much as their work has discovered us."
