This is the Flickr site of Beyond Ktaadn, an organization promoting eastern alpine ecosystems. Beyond Ktaadn's mission is to advance the conservation of alpine biodiversity in eastern North America - from New England to Labrador - through focused research, biological inventory, and public outreach.

We use this site to organize and share images of alpine plants and animals collected by Beyond Ktaadn's field team in Québec, Labrador, Newfoundland, New England, and New York.

Please contact us through this site if you are interested in using any of these images for educational or scientific projects related to the eastern alpine areas. We hope to gradually build this portfolio into a well-organized, thoroughly referenced database illustrating vascular plants, lichens, mosses, invertebrates, and vertebrates of the eastern alpine areas at various life stages.
