I am a practical artist trying to make everyday objects more beautiful.

I had been a freelance copywriter for (gulp) decades before I started imprinting my watercolor and pen-and-ink images onto whatever would hold still long enough = ) Now I'm juggling the two businesses, which at times is truly "beyond her!"

My look is a combination of natural and contemporary. I've moved away from watercolors because I've gotten obsessed with screenprinting. Most of my pieces are screened by me and my husband, using water-based inks, in my studio. Sometimes I hire people to do the actual screening for me, but I love to do it myself because I like to improvise as I go. Every piece is part of a limited edition to date.

I love fabric and I love paper, so i start with high quality products that I've researched and tested. I'm always looking for more household, apparel and office supply products that I can make a delight to use.
