My approach …
I am a portrait photographer with heart and soul. I love working close and personal with people. I like to make them feel comfortable and guide them through what is hopefully a wonderful experience for the person being photographed. I want my model to trust me and help me express their personality and dreams in the photographs.
When it comes to photographing babies or children, I will always favour photographing them in their home environment or at a place they know and like. I want them to see me as a friendly visitor who comes to admire them and a child’s personality is best unleashed through play.

My images…
It is essential for me to have a good chat with my model prior to the shoot to establish what the model wants to achieve, express, see, experience and create. I then come up with a series of ideas for the shoot including the location which I will discuss with the model prior to the shoot. I usually start off the shoot with very natural images using natural light. Depending on the models moods, desires and playfulness the images can reflect very different aspects of a personality. I have found that the right mood, chemistry and creativity can create unique images that are beyond what I or the model expected, they are a piece of art.
