my 2 awesome dogs and i live in boston, ma. i have had my clothing business Lipgloss Productions since 1991 most years it has been a wholesale business, and some years i do crafts shows, too.

Three years ago was the debut of my recycled sweater line of hats, scarves, mittens, and one of a kind embellished pieces. all of the hats are embellished with my polymer clay buttons, and i'm grateful to have a way to successfully sell my polymer so i can make more, and hopefully become better at it. it's one sick addiction, i must say! the scarves that i restyle from sweaters are probably the most intense things i make. they are hand-dyed on top of my stove, shrunk, felted, pieced, sometimes re-dyed, i get carried away.
i love doing anything and everything handmade, and i like patching and mending instead of new stuff. i'm a huge pack rat, and it always pays off, so it gets worse, or better, as i see it.
recently i have bought a new, (to me) house that feels like it's going to be fun to renovate, nurture back to health, and really let my artistic skills take off. the whole first floor is going to be my studio.

flickr is a blast, i don't want to think of how many hours i have poured over other artist's work. so fun, so inspiring, thanks to all of you out there who have made flickr what it is.
