A little about msyelf, ... OK here's a GO at it, ...

My name is Mani Berjano. Ive lived in the Caribbean, Boston Mass., and also been in Florida since 1975.

From the tender age of 4 years old, I've always known what I wanted to do, that is "Photogrpahy". If you ever looked at some of my family photos, you will note a still or video camera wrapped around my neck. My first wedding was with not only a Professional Photographer named Sam Trent but also a Teacher from a well known Northeast College were he taught Photography for many years. Sam Trent took me under his wing and taught me everything he knew, and so much of what I know I owe to him for teaching me the things I know now.

When I reached my late Teens, I decided to not to do this as my primary work. Now I only do special photo shoots and ocassionally I'll do a wedding. But I really dislike doing wedding. In all my years in this fields, Ive never found a photographer that really raves about doing weddings, and if they did, he/she had not done a whole lot of them. This is why I have chosen to do this only for Friends and Family and ocassionally I will do a contract job for money. Ive had multiple photos published and others purchased for diplaying and advertising purposes.

Basically, if it's not going to be "Fun" I most likely will not have my Nikon D300 camera there with me. I also have a field Pentax 6x7 format camera with all sorts of lenses to go with it. Ive also owned Nikon FM, FE2, F1, F2, F3, and F4's, I am looking closely at the D series for my next purchase.

I've worked for the same place since 1983. Ive got 4 more years and I can retire after 30 years and then, I will do much more Photogrpahy than what Ive been doing the last 30 years. Ive done everything from Power boat races, model portfolios, photos shoot, to Weddings formals. My favorite however is taking photos of Wildlife.
