The name Benten was inspired from the only Goddess in the Japanese Seven Lucky Gods. She represents love, beauty and fine arts. Benten is the Queen of the Sea whose entourage by white snakes. She is often depicted as a beautiful woman mounted on a dragon.

This fashion brand "Benten" started early June 2007 to meet woman’s passions on beauty, arts and fashion. Proudly Indonesian made, created and designed to meet an International standard and manage to maintain its consistency. Benten products ranges are currently focused on evening gowns and cocktail dresses. Benten opened its first concept store in Pluit, North Jakarta and positively aiming for a wider distributions.

Benten’s dynamic duo Cecilia (27) and Lisa (25) started humbly with passions, tastes, simple designs and courage whilst understanding woman’s need and beauty. Collaborations of the designs, strategies as well as sustaining the comfort and quality of dresses to meet the market demand. Benten actively participating in many media field such as TV, fashion magazines, fashion shows and actively targeting worldwide market through website and online network.

Today, Benten have been traveling around Indonesia and also moving towards Malaysia and Singapore. Currently preparing for wider distribution to Melbourne and Sydney, Australia and will keep spreading distributions towards fashion industry.
