Flash and Photoshop-free zone

I've realised that I really can't stand two things: Ugly flash photographs, and heavy-handed photoshopping. Practically every photo you see in my photostream is shot hand-held, without flash (except for anything shot before 2005 when I made the switch to digital).

I prefer a softer, pleasingly lit photo to a razor-sharp, flash-blasted shot any day of the week.

I do use The Gimp (or more recently, Picnik) to crop shots, fix the odd bit of white-balance, and maybe boost the odd colour or two, but you won't find photoshopped-to-hell snaps here. Wha-hay! ...in a mock-jolly Flickr style.
