I got into photography over ten years ago when shooting with my father's Canon AE1. I've been using his Sony digital camera eagerly since the first day he bought it. After getting myself a Canon EOS 10D and three years later a 5D I continually tried to improve my skill. You can see the current outcome by looking at most of my pictures.

I'm using free and open source software almost exclusively to work with my pictures. The GIMP, RAWTherapee and Ubuntu allow me to get creative and to not be depending on a single company which tells me what is right for me.

On the personal side I'm interested in doing sports, reading, photography, oh really ;) and of course cooking. I'm a vegan since the beginning of 2007 and I really feel good pursuing my own thoughts about what is right and wrong!
