Happy Tinfoil Cat's photostream  

Happy Tinfoil Cat is the name I have chosen for the internet. I was introduced to Zhen in China and five minutes later we were engaged. We married that week. That was 20 years ago. I'm now 51 and Zhen is 39. We have two boys, Kevin and Max and 'adopted' a daughter, Xin. Kevin and Xin will be in college next year.

Both my brothers married girls from China. Our three wives are cousins. My father has no living relatives and so the vast majority of my family is Chinese. I know a bit of Cantonese as a result. Xin, of course, is fully conversant in Mandarin and Cantonese and read/writes simplified form. The two boys are learning traditional form and more focused on Cantonese. They are also learning German. Last summer, Kevin went on an exchange program in Germany.
