I specialize in exploring, enjoying, researching, and writing about Belgium's unique beers and beer culture, as well as Belgian-inspired beers, breweries and beer bars. Since 1994, I have visited Belgium 22 times, and toured 113 breweries. I have written for such publications as Ale Street News, All About Beer magazine, Beer Conoisseur magazine, Beers of the World magazine, Beeradvocate magazine, Beer and Brewer Australia and New Zealand, Beer Northwest magazine, CAMRA What's Brewing, Celebrator Beer News, Delta Sky, Draft Magazine, The Gotham Imbiber, Great Lakes Brewing News, Taps: Canada's Beer Magazine, as well as the Beeradvocate and Ratebeer websites. I also contributed 30 Belgian beer reviews to "1001 Beers You Must Taste Before You Die" and to Tim Webb's "The Good Beer Guide to Belgium."
