Bedsty Music is a Singapore-based music provider. We provide music through various means; Music Production, Music Events & Parties, and Artist Bookings for Private & Public Events.

Bedsty Music was formed in 2003 by Syaheed and long-time collaborator, Koko aka Kokeyzee aka Ko Ko da Beatman. We have had the gracious opportunity to produce music for various household names across the region. Bedsty Music today boast some of the best urban music producers in the region as part of the team, and it intends to pave the way for the next generation of Urban acts out of Singapore and beyond by working with them closely, delivering the best quality music available on the street. In the last 6 years, Bedsty Music has produced works have received radio airplay in 6 countries, wrote theme music for games, attained 5 #1 singles* in 5 countries, and even 3 nominations at Anugerah Planet Musik 2006 and one at the Anugerah Era 2007.

In 2008, Bedsty Music branched into producing parties and events. The events included the launch of MC Vandal's sophomore album, special one-night only appearance by "Magnolius (Canada)", and led the the conceptualization of GOOD TIMES. GOOD TIMES is held monthly at Blu Jaz Café and features singapore-based DJs throwing down a progressive mix of music that complements "live" art demos by mixed-media artists. By the end of the 1st Quarter of 2009, Bedsty Music will embark on their second series of parties...tentatively titled "DONUTS"...

In addition to this, Bedsty Music works hard at connecting the local music community to various events, shows, and other performing opportunities. We have booked local and international DJs for various club nights, private parties and social events; booked "live" hip hop acts and even bands to festivals, shows and recitals. Reason to the name:
--------------------------
It is a composite of two words, "bed" & "sty", referring to the messy state of Syaheed's bedroom where it all began.
It is also an ode and tribute to a place in New York called "Bedford Stuyversant", nicknamed “Bedstuy” where some of the best and most respected Hip Hop artists came out from.

Reason to the logo:
------------------------
It can be read forward, mirrored, or from the back to signify our complete approach to delivering our goals.
It has influences of Asian forms of writing, to reflect where we are from.
It marks our capability and innovativeness in design.
