I started using Flickr after reading a Salon article about fotologging. It described the movement as as opening blogging up to people whose preferred mode of self-expression was not primarily lexical (words) but graphical (images). This led to me to wonder what sort of image-conversation I would have, and whether I could give it some discipline and direction. This site is for me to look at my graphical thinking and my observation, reflecting on what I consider "worth noticing", and looking at whether that changes as the process becomes more conscious.
