I grew up in Wisconsin, lived in Alaska for 10 years, and have returned to Wisconsin. I went to Minneapolis College of Art and Design for 2 years, where I learned the basics of art and photography. Most of my artistic abilities I've learned by experimentation and keeping an open mind. I don't believe there are any rules in art. I consider myself a multi-media artist, a jack of many arts, but master of none. Art has always been my strongest point, so I have now given my life to it. I have bi-polar disorder, which I believe adds intesity to my art, because it causes me to have periods of mild to moderate obsessiveness in my pursuits. I know I'm eccentric, but most people find I have an interesting and refreshing point of view on life. I will keep looking at the world like I did when I was a child.
