BEATRICE VALENTINE AMRHEIN, BORN in 1969 IN WASSY France, grown in REUNION ISLAND, and now she lives and works in Paris but never continuously; long journeys throughout Europe, the United States and around the Indian Ocean serve to broaden her horizon. HER WORK REFLECTS HER PERSONNAL QUESTIONNING AND SEARCH FOR IDENTITY AROUND THE BODY AND the system of the body. She studied quite early to different art school, where she began large scale paintings and soon discovered an affinity FOR developing A BROAD RANGE OF EMOTIONAL, VISCERAL AND INTELLECTUAL RESPONSES AND PERCEPTIONS EXPLORING THROUG PHOTOGRAPHY AND DRAWINGS.

Previously she has exhibited and was invited by famous group shows in Paris, Nantes, Caen and she had solo shows in Los Angeles, Bordeaux, Paris, Brooklyn, New York. She had participated at several state commissions for SCULPTURES and wall painting and currently collaborated in special events and performances.

Since 2004, she has been working on her new project call REPORT ON BODY and the body system, monumental and disarming installation of drawn veils, sculptures, prints, photos. By adding a new dimension she offers another example of both conception and execution, an deeply personal, she continues her internal experiences.
