By no means am I professional photographer. I'm just someone who likes to take pictures with a digital camera. I posted a topic on the Digital Photography School message board, asking everybody what their style is. Mine would just be to have fun and take an interesting picture. I don't like fake smiles and posed shots. They bore me, and don't seem real. When taking pictures of people (usually my little sister, she's an interesting subject because she's always moving), I try to capture her when she's playing and being herself. Besides, I'm not very good at faking a smile. I always look stupid.

If I had to name an influence, it'd be Linda McCartney. She's best known as the first wife of my favorite musician Paul McCartney, but she's more than that. She was a photographer, vegetarian cook, mother, musician... she was amazing. And so was her photography. She took pictures of Paul and their family, and not of them in posed positions with fake smiles, either! There's a really good one of Paul and their family I like:



It'd be awesome if I could take a picture like that.
