I'm Simon, I'm 50 and I live in Darlington in a huge and beautiful Edwardian house which I bought the day before the credit crunch in April 2008. (Je ne regrette rien) I live alone with my dog Alfie but have friendly humans who visit often. I mostly work from home (research and consultancy) which means that I can listen to my music all day long...
I just finished a Self Portrait a Day on flickr. A love/hate thing. But I'm glad I did it.
I only recently acquired my first DSLR ( a secondhand D70 ) which I'm learning to love - especially with a 50mm lens.
