I am a professional oil painter. I create subjectively with a lot of emotions on a canvas about people. My use of colors is in relation to my avid interest in human beings. I must listen to my native music to avoid external distractions.
The palette knife helps me to manipulate colors intuitively and to form a sense of spiritual liveliness which tends to intensify as one keeps a steady look at the total picture.
So what I paint is basically human, subjective, visionary as well as personal. It has a lot more to it than just to decorate a wall.
