I am a very liberal long hair, aging hippy. I am interested in history, handwriting, pens, manuscripts, watches, clocks, dogs, photography, poetry,rare books, art, libraries, museums, and just about anything and everything. I collect books, timepieces and fountain pens. I am very interested in European history, especially the United Kingdom. Medieval life and architecture is a love of mine. I would love to move to England.

I was very ill a couple years ago with brain cancer. I beat it. It was a very tough time since my wife left me during that time. But I am alive and doing well. My dog Baxter keeps me going. I am lonely but being alive is nice.

Four Seasons fill the Measure of the year;

Four Seasons are there in the mind of Man.
He hath his lusty spring when fancy clear
