I got my first camera when I was 13. Took possibly about 3000 photos on it. Then it just up and died. I then proceeded forward with a Ricoh Caplio R4. While on Norfolk Island in Dec 06/Jan 07, and while there took over 1800 photos. I added an iPhone 3G in the mix there, although never as a primary camera.
I now own a Nikon D700. Brilliant camera. Also since I have bought an iPhone 4S and plan on using the brilliant 5MP camera and 1080p HD video camera in place of a point and shoot. It's a great camera!
