LeaVonda Battle is the epitome of someone who has a great heart and desires to uses her experiences, knowledge, skills and resources to strengthen the community. Fueled by hope and creativity, she believes obstacles can foster ingenious minds to create new improve systems. She believes wisdom has tailor-made her disposition and mentality to fight and education has provided the resources for maximum penetration into hard to reach areas. She believes education without wisdom and excellence makes for a pride filled workers. LeaVonda has a tender heart towards all people. She has been called a servant leader who leads by example.

LeaVonda Battle has over 12 years of public communication management and organizational development experience. She has overseen the design various mass communications’ projects: such as websites, training materials, brochures, booklets, postcards, magazines and newsletters. Moreover, she has written hundreds of media and good story articles. LeaVonda is known as being a dynamic presenter who can connect and facilitate with various audiences. She uses interactive activities to communicate various disciplines and information. She also served on various community educational development advisory boards and committees with proven results.

Places she served in the community providing solutions and custom trainings: First Coast WorkForce Development Board, Northeast Florida Community in Action Agency, Independent Living Resource center of Northeast Florida, Youth Crisis Center, Family Support Services of North Florida, St Johns County Chamber of Commerce, City of Jacksonville, Duval County Juvenile System, St Johns County Juvenile System, North Florida Career Academies, Clay County School District, Duval County School District, St Johns County School District, Putnam County School District, Urban League, Victim’s Advocate and many other churches and organizations.

LeaVonda has a very strong lust for learning and sharpening her saw. She is working towards completing her MBA, with an emphasis in Communications Management from Webster University, Illinois, anticipated graduation 2010. In 2001, while she was active duty she earned a BA in Organizational Management from Edward Waters College, Jacksonville, Florida. In 1996, she also has earned Broadcasters and Journalism Diploma from one of the top 10% most challenging schools in the DOD for all military branches, DINFOS, For Meade, Maryland.
