Photography is addictive, at least for me. The more i do it, the more i look at all beautifull images around, the more i love photography and photographers in special... because they pay attention to people, landscapes, details, light and all the universe gives us daily, and is sadly so poor looked at by many of us.

Taking portraits is trying to get in the skin of your subject, if possible, talking with them, to understand who they are, and trying to capture that, or at least trying to see their soul in their eyes. Taking stills is trying to get the light and the spirit of the image you see. You can't just take them all like a movie does, you have to make choices, and... a little, be lucky about pushing the button at the right moment and the right glimpse...

My house is getting more and more full with images that have impact on my soul, my system is registrating beautifull creations, compositions, people and surroundings more and more as i walk through my life... and i am very grateful for that.

I am living in the centre of amsterdam and are in the lucky position to be able to travel a lot. And i admire the difference of light at our continents. The intense light of India, the magical light of indonesia, the so bright light of Tibet or the intense light of New York. I am blessed with the beautifull clouded light of the Netherlands. Still so much to explore....

Lets see, besides of photography i try to cook, drink good wines, travel, read, play the piano (fusion/jazz), coach, advise and manage.. so many beautifull things to do in life, but... photography has my heart... as it is challenging my creativity.... all the time... everytime.... everywhere.... I love it!

@ the moment i work with Canon Eos 5D mark II, 50/1.4. 16-35/2.8 24-70/2.8 and 70-200/2.8 IS and in my studio i work with bowens flash lights
