I am a professional artist working with visual, sound, performance, and installation art.

My relationship with photography is very casual. I am interested in both the very romantic (sublime and constructivist/modernist) and the very mundane (deadpan, bland, suburbian), and how to temper those two emotions with each other.
Topics I'm interested in include architecture and mild intrusions upon rough nature, and "built" nature that pretends to be natural simply because we have forgotten its built quality.

I rarely ever do post-production on my photos, even though I full well know how. I'm either lazy or don't have the time, so most of the photographs here are as shot. Every so often I correct for white balance, but that's about it. I don't spend much time actually taking the pictures, I'm not a pro or anything. Cheap digital is all I ever use, really.
