I have a bachelor and a master degree from Dominican University in River Forest IL. My parents came here looking for a better life. Yes, life has been hard, when I first came I did not know English. I had the pleasure of being one of those in the midst watching Barack Obama work during his run for the Congressional seat against Congressman Bobby Rush and Senator Donne E. Trotter in Illinois. How inspirational! He seems to me to be a long-awaited and very appropriate answer to a myriad of questions we have been asking for a long time as Americans.
