I had a profile on Flickr years ago, but took it down. I then embarked on an amazing photography journey. Some people I met on Flickr back then became my (what seems to be) life long friends.

I am now back, but part-time only as I simply don’t have much time due to my passion for promoting photography. I fulfill that passion as a Regional Director for the Photographic Society of America (PSA), the organization that has membership in 65 countries. PSA just marked its 75th Anniversary. Ansell Adams was among other famous members of this amazing organization that promotes art and science of Photography.

I am also a Mentor in Light Painting Category for the PSA.

I might not be able to get back to all contacts right away as I am very busy giving presentations, organizing workshops, fulfilling my duties as a PSA Mentor and writing articles on Photography (the activity, for which I was awarded a PSA Journal Editorial Award (Bronze Star)). I started photography early and had my own lab by the age of 11. I am very versatile and while my passion and specialty is night and low light photography and light painting, I am well versed (to say the least) in working with a human subject, urban photography, etc. While I prefer to create my initial image in-camera and pride myself in being able to create magic of light painting with light installation, without any further software manipulation whatsoever; I totally embraced Photoshop and think that certain genres of Photography benefit from the latest technologies.

I am interested in photo compositing/montage and currently working on a couple of neat projects.
