The whole concept of Bar27 originated in an empty basement somewhere in Amsterdam. In the spring of 2006 a group of friends came to live together in what soon seemed to be one magic place. Within a certain matter of time all their ideas, tastes, styles and fantasies started melting together, having one thing in common: passion for house music. After a couple of infamous afterparties in their very own intimate basement, the name Bar27 was born.

This young and creative collective really made the past few years their own. Not only as talented DJ's and producers, but mainly by organising and hosting events and club nights in Amsterdam (Paradiso, Studio 80, MS Stubnitz) and stages at Dutch festivals such as Source and Mystery Land. In the beginning of 2010 this all resulted in their newborn child called Wunderbar, a concept where everything Bar27 stands for merges into one ultimate experience. A long and exuberant event where people can dance, chill, play and enjoy and where quality house music, creativity and artistic elements come together.

Besides an event organization, Bar27 is also a musical platform for artists within the national and international house scene. A platform where artists can share their love for house music with each other and the audience. Not just attached to one specific style, but nonetheless with its own characteristic sound. Along with their unique style and passion the Bar27 collective brings you positive energy, luck, love, rockin' beats and a touch of craziness in a flavoured mix of house and techno music. Altogether they only have one purpose: 'live life, love music!'
