I'm an enthusiastic amatuer. i am a plane spotter (anorak) and think I'm getting into ships as well. I enjoy photographing aircraft. I started with a Fuji 9500 camera and joined in their site for help and comments. This has helped greatly and I learned to use the camera for more than aircraft pics.
Recently I was lucky to be able to get a Canon EOS 40D with the 17-85 and 70-300 IS USM lenses. A further advance? Proud owner of a Canon7D and battery grip. from November 2011.
I am keen to learn and enjoy comments about my pics good, bad,indifferent and preferably those offered to assist.
