Hello Everyone!

I am Ph.D student in Physics, specializing in Machine Learning Theory. These studies allow my rational, scientific mind to explore abstract ideas with practical applications.

Photography, on the other hand, is my artistic tool for discovering and understanding the world around me.
I think that the photograph goes beyond capturing the light scattered by surfaces. It pierces this surface to reveal another truth. It connects photographer and subjects in ways more profound than the mere presence in that place at that moment.

I adore exploring these possibilities in the wild, trying to reveal the life of the mountain landscape.
With effort I am also redirecting my curiosity to exploit the infinite communicative combinations of street photography. It is a genre I have always admired but never thought myself apt at it. Capturing scenes in the streets allows me to bring a social meaning to my photos I cannot do with mountain photography.
