Nasce in Russia in un freddo venerdì 17, primogenito di una famiglia di antichi tipografi moscoviti di origine italiana.
E' nell'antica tipografia della famiglia che cresce: sin da bambino si diletta a giocare con tutto ciò che fosse cartaceo e rimediabile all'interno del negozio.
Trasferitosi a 14 anni in Germania con la famiglia, partecipa ad un provino per una pubblicità.
E' in questa occasione che conosce Günter Euringer, colui che tanto tempo prima aveva prestato il suo volto per la vecchia confezione delle barrette Kinder.
Ancora un adolescente ingenuo e spensierato, UNO si entusiasma subito alla storia di Günter, storia che diventerà la sua ossessione e che caratterizzerà tutta la sua esperienza artistica.
Dopo qualche anno decide di trasferirsi in Italia.
A Roma, nei primi anni del 2000, comincia ad appassionarsi al Situazionismo e alla tecnica del detournement.
Disilluso e disincantato verso tutte le regole che la società italiana gli impone, decide di non decidere, di abbandonarsi ad un atteggiamento Blasé.
L’interesse per la street art, che da sempre l’aveva affascinato, comincia a diventare strumento di sfogo.
Anche senza mai voler veicolare nessun messaggio particolare e per nessun apparente motivo, si ritrova profondamente incuriosito da questo forma di comunicazione.
E' allora che riaffiora la sua vecchia passione per colla e montaggio sregolato di brandelli cartacei, questa volta misto ad una sorta d’iconografia spicciola e alla ripetizione ossessiva del volto di Günter.

Le tecniche usate nella sua produzione sono quelle classiche della street art, anche se la sua predilezione, già dalle prime esperienze in strada, sono i poster, la ripetizione, i collage, i decoupage e ogni cosa che abbia a che fare con la carta e la sua manipolazione, con la strada e l’effimero, con il perenne e incessante bisogno di vagare di notte bruciati dal fuoco.



Born in Russia one cold Friday the 17th of January, the eldest son in a family of traditional Moscovite printmakers of Italian origin.
It's in this traditional printmaking environment that he grows up: as a child he amused himself playing with everything and anything that was printed and within reach in the store.

At 14 he moved to Germany with his family and auditioned for an advertising campaign. It was during this audition that he had occasion to meet Euringer Günter, who many years previously had given over his image as the face on Kinder bar packaging.

Still a naive and carefree teenager, UNO was immediately excited about the story of Günter, a story that will become his obsession, and that will characterize his entire artistic experience.

After several years he decided to move to Italy where in Rome, in the early 2000s, he became fascinated by the Situationist International and the détournement technique.
Disillusioned and disenchanted by all the rules that Italian society imposed on him, he decides not to decide, and adopts a blasé attitude.
An interest in street art, which had always fascinated him, began to become an outlet to vent.
Even without ever wanting to push a particular message and for no apparent reason, he finds himself deeply intrigued by this form of communication.
It was in that moment that his old passion for glue and hastily assembled scraps of paper reemerged, this time mixed with the repetitive and obsessive iconography of Gunter's face.

The techniques used in his artistic production are the classics of street art, although his preference, right from his first experiences in the street, are posters — repetition, collage, decoupage, and anything that has to do with paper and its manipulation, with the streets and the ephemeral, with the perpetual and incessant need to roam around burning the midnight oil.
