A nomadic artist and designer currently located in Tokyo, Japan. Occasionally working under the pseudonym Spiked Punch, Daniel has also lived in New York City, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco and London. Daniel's work is often a mixed media of graphite or ink on paper using limited colors to create an antiquated and sentimental feeling juxtaposed with modern text, scientific diagrams and optical patterns. The work has underlying meanings, often about love, that can be interpreted as ironic, bitter, and/or humorous. The self-taught artist works with various media including, but not limited to, painting, printmaking, fashion and photography.
