"The first time I saw one of Azli's images, I thought ..... how can someone in this world create something so beautiful, so powerful and so impressive at the same time. I could not imagine what kind of person was behind those incredible images.... now that I have the great honour to consider him as a friend I can see that all those images, all those feelings he transmits with them are coming directly from his noble soul. Thanks a lot, my friend :-)"

"I just have to congratulate azlijamil on his fantastic portrait skills, he doesn't bombard us with images but the ones he does post are of the highest quality and invariably with a story behind them. He also takes the time to comment and visit my photos which I always appreciate. Keep up the good work!"

"azlijamil is one of the best photojournalists on flickr bar none. He can capture the pathos in seemingly any situation and he always gets his shot. I wish he hadn't given up ratings communities to get into explore more often but he deserves all the phots in explore that he gets."

"I remember how I got into Azli's stream. I had seem Dale's photo somewhere, and thought: "hmmmmm cute guy, well portraited". Just for curiosity I clicked on his profile, and I was totally taken by surprise for the magnificency of the captures. I added him as a contact and he was kind enough to comment on my silly and not-so-good photos. If my photos got any better, I can say out loud, mouth full and proud that Azli was a major source of inspiration. And if his photos weren't good enough, he continues to improve and amaze us!
Azli, I wish you all the best and loads of success! And don't forget this fan of yours!!

Sean Shimmel... wink back at the Reaper says:
"What a celebration of the very best in life with all of its intricate, unexpected moments... exotic backlit monkeys, an anguished homeless woman reaching for help, and the interesting alien-like light beaming from a flash on a self portrait...
Your photostream is a great revenge against all the mess in life... as is said, "The greatest revenge is living well." You have certainly done this many times over through your vision of the glad moments in life."18th November, 2006
