Ayan Ghosh is a Design Graduate from the National Institute of Design and the National Institute of Fashion Technology, and is currently a professional Travel Photojournalist.

He is one of few professional photographers in India who works exclusively in making Panoramas and has documented several of the most famous landmarks in India in this format. The idea is to implement existing technologies in newer contexts. There is already a hell lot of photographic innovations which has yet to be implanted across the diversity of India's geographical and cultural landscape. India Stretched is one step in that direction.

Globally photography is moving on with the times, and there has been an explosion of visual culture with the booming of new technologies. Photography has truly become democratic in its essence, of recording human experience, and sharing it with platforms provided by the internet. Revolution in editing softwares, printing technology, and computer generated imaging means the photographer has much more control and creative impact on his work.
