I've been taking photos for 50 years - and I'm still not happy with the results - I probably never will be.

I'm not much impressed with 'acclaimed' artists either - but I do admire either their self-promotion skills or those of their agents.

I create images because I hope others will like them. Flickr seems like a decent vehicle for doing that.

I'm not particularly gregarious- even with family - and a recent accident has left me with permanent hearing problems so I'm even more self-absorbed than before. Expect comments from me only when I come up for air.

I've recently joined www.flickr.com/groups/WEEKLY/ as a way of motivating a more regular trip to planet earth. I'll spend most of my time there or on admin tasks.
