I am making an attempt to grow from "shooting pics from cellphones" to "shooting from digital camera".

I am learning to fly.

That was last year. Now I know a bit about how to use a camera, what does exposure mean, f numbers, rule of three and all that. But I am still not good in all those. I click on impulse mostly. I do not spend much time composing an image (which is a serious drawback).

I use Panasonic FZ18 and haven't laid hands on dslr yet.

My activities have increased significantly this year (2010) and I wish to do some serious photography during this time.

Next leap would be a dslr for sure.

I own Canon EOS 500D with 18-135 mm EFS lens and canon 50mm f1.8 II lens.

I am now moving towards black / white film photography and for this I have recently bought Minolta SRT 202 with 50mm f1.4 lens.
