I'm a public library in Avon Lake, Ohio situated between the great cities of Cleveland and Lorain, right on the shores of the beautiful Lake Erie.

My mission is to provide users with the information needed to support their lifelong learning, materials on a broad array of topics related to their lives, work, school and recreational interests, the staff to assist in finding and using information effectively, and meeting spaces for the community to come together on issues that affect us all.

I hold about 134,000 items (books, magazines, musical recordings, movies and learning kits) at any one time, plus I have access to a large set of electronic resources. I contain DiscoveryWorks (a hands-on arts and science learning center for children) and a gallery that displays local artists, as well as the YA Stop (a teen space), Children's room and Reference desk.
