Graphic designer and art director, retired (released for good behavior) from local advertising and working as an IT manager/prepress guru for a pretty good printing company. I got my degree in 1989; before desktop publishing, digital cameras and the internet. I'm withholding my opinion until I see whether they catch on.
That's my day job, anyway. Evenings, weekends, holidays and whenever my boss isn't watching I'm a pilot. I've logged over 750 hours, instrument-rated and hoping to get my instructor rating. A few years ago I bought a restored Piper Tri-Pacer, a stubby little 4-seat airplane from the 1950s. I also volunteer as a squadron commander for the Civil Air Patrol.
I'm here thanks to my remarkable wife, gailontheweb; like Flickr, she is original, addictive, and comes from Vancouver.

Without him I'd have no aerial photos aside from commercial airlines, no "Hugh the cat" photos, no East Coast photos outside of Manhattan, and I'd be much less inspired to learn Adobe Photoshop... I'd be much less inspired, full-stop.
