I love to watch animals, especially dogs, cats, horses and suburban wildlife (in that order). I like to watch their interaction & observe their emotions & reactions and that's what I often try to capture with the camera.

I provide an adequate and enriching environment for the animals in my life and I do the best I can to see to their needs as they give me and my family so much in return.

I've never considered myself "taken," but rather lucky enough to be able to share life with a true soulmate & best friend for the past 25+ years.

I am a former journalism teacher, scholastic photography instructor, classroom teacher, contributing photojournalist and school public relations professional; now only a "photo hobbyist." I steer clear of all images planned from a studio & set up.

I am a proponent of digital citizenship & big supporter of a greener, paperless school environment. Our students today need more advanced tech education and less "traditional" classrooms. They need to be engaged and immersed using current methods rather than the methods that were used in classroom 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 years ago.
And that digital classroom needs to be open and transparent -- which brings me to my closing.

I hate that I have to do this, but I don't have any photos available to you if you don't have any photos available to me, so I will block those who don't reciprocate. It's only fair. You pay me the greatest compliment by favoriting my photos or adding me as a contact. I'm honored. Seriously.

Let me say it again. If your photos or work are not available to me, mine will not be available to you. I will block you.
It could be that you just aren't aware of privacy settings. Then check 'em. Fix 'em & try again.

I hope you enjoy my photos. Attribution would be nice, but I know often it is not possible. Just don't try to pass it off as your own. Say you got it from a great photographer on Flickr.
