I've been working with B&W film in the darkroom since the early nineties and during those moments in which loading Tri-X into bulk loaders become too ergonomically cumbersome, I experiment with digital photography and the focus of the mouse.

I take lots of inspiration from the urban isolation and street-corner bombardment seen in Evans' depictions of city life. In my travels, I have escaped getting mauled by a city bus more than once when I was paying attention to the viewfinder more than, say, getting the hell out of the crosswalk.

I dream about Gursky and Evans getting their film swapped by accident at the Photo Bug.
