I saw a web site that talked about taking 1 photo a day (project 365) and decided that I would have a go at this . I havent been into photography for very long and still have a lot to learn.
Hopefully being a member of Flickr will help. I am very much inspired by all the beautiful pictures that are posted here.
Please email or visit my facebook page (see link below) and let me know if you use any of my pictures that are under Creative Commons license. If you see a picture that is "all rights reserved" drop me an email and I may let you use it. Please do not steal my pictures and claim them as your own.
I now have some images for sale at Getty Images. These pictures have the Getty link next to them and must be purchased through Getty by clicking on the link.
My equipment
Sony DSC H1
Canon EOS 400D
2 kit lenses
50mm EF 1.8 lens
macro filters and extension tubes and
Canon 100mm macro lens.
Plus some recently acquired vintage lenses
Helios-44-2 (M42 58mm/f2) lens
Carl Zeiss Jena 70-210mm
Yes, I do use photoshop but usually only the basic levels, brightness, contrast and saturation tweaks.
